Chris Dockery Announces Campaign for State House District 9
Reporting for Duty to Defend Our Way of Life
Today, Veteran, small businessman, public servant and proven conservative, Lumpkin Commission Chair Chris Dockery announced that he is running for State House District 9. The District 9 seat is currently held by Will Wade who has announced that he is running for State Senate.
Said Dockery, “Growing up in North Georgia, my family and faith taught me early in life the importance of serving others. From serving our nation to now serving as the Lumpkin County Commission Chairman and everything in between, that is what I have been committed doing for over 30 years.”
“Now, I am reporting for duty again by running to serve the people of Dawson, Lumpkin and White Counties in the State House. We need a proven conservative leader who is tested and can be trusted to stand strong for our families, conservative values, and our way of life. With the experience gained from commanding troops, leading a county government, running a business, and through my work in the legislative process, I am prepared to get the job done.
“In the State House, I will carry with me the conservative North Georgia values we all share and a commitment to faith, family, and freedom. I will stand firm against the left and their radical agenda, and I will never waiver when it comes to protecting our conservative principles. I look forward to working hard to earn the trust and support of the people of Dawson, Lumpkin and White Counties in the months ahead,” concluded Dockery.
